For more than 40 years, Trillium Gymnastics Club has helped young athletes across the Kingston area build strength, confidence and resilience through sport. Recently, members of the Trillium team added another important skill to their coaching toolkit by renewing their Intermediate/Standard First Aid and CPR certification with Push For Life.

Gymnastics is filled with opportunities for young people to challenge themselves, develop new abilities and discover what their bodies can do. Behind those experiences are coaches and staff who understand the importance of creating an environment where athletes feel supported, encouraged and safe.
First Aid and CPR training helps staff recognize when something may be wrong, respond with confidence and provide meaningful care while additional help is arranged. These are practical skills that complement the knowledge, attentiveness and responsibility coaches already bring to their work every day.
Trillium’s commitment to staff training reflects the values at the heart of the organization: wellness, belonging, excellence and creating a positive environment in which athletes can thrive. As a Kingston not-for-profit serving recreational and competitive gymnasts, the club continues to invest in both athlete development and the people who support it. We loved welcoming the Trillium Gymnastics team into our classroom and hearing the experiences, questions and perspectives they brought to their training.

Congratulations to the newly certified members of the Trillium team—and thank you for continuing to invest in the safety, confidence and resilience of Kingston’s young athletes.
