Belleville Students Build Lifesaving Skills Through First Aid & CPR Training

This year, we had the pleasure of providing several First Aid & CPR courses for local high school students through the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, including students from Nicholson Catholic College and St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School in Belleville.

First Aid & CPR training gives students practical skills they can carry with them into their workplaces, post-secondary education, volunteer roles, families, and communities. It also helps young people recognize how much of a difference they can make when someone needs help.

We always enjoy working with youth. Students bring curiosity, thoughtful questions, and fresh perspectives into the classroom. It is especially rewarding to see them become more comfortable with the skills they are learning and begin to understand the important role everyday people can play in an emergency.

By making First Aid & CPR training available to students, these schools are investing in much more than certification. They are helping young people develop confidence, responsibility, and valuable life skills while contributing to a safer and more prepared community.
